Welcome to the Summit Hill Historical Society Website.  The Summit Hill Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and restoring the heritage and rich history of Summit Hill.  We are over 300 members strong and actively working to preserve the town which many scholars consider to be the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution.   Summit Hill has a great natural beauty, biking and hiking trails, a large annual Memorial Day parade and several special events throughout the year. You can also learn more about us at our museum located in town at 12 E. Ludlow St.

The Summit Hill Historical Society is composed of over 300 members both living in town and outside the area.  Our core group of 15-25 members help plan and implement projects.  We were founded in April 1998 and have been incorporated since that time.   We also are supported by the community and fundraising projects.

We also help out other organizations in town with special events and have a close working relationship with the Summit Hill Recreation Commission.
